Traveling to Missouri,
Camp Jeep our destination,
Rufuz & Rene in attendance,
One year in the distant past that was our vacation,
Drove our Southwind with Jeep attached,
It showed and gave to us or independence…
The heat in Branson, MO unbearable,
Nothing before or since we’ve found comparable,
We went there through St. Lou,
As Rene couldn’t read a map if her life depended on it,
Couldn’t find us a way around the city, we went straight through…
Glad you were able to take her out on the road when she was still alive. I never thought of Branson as being a "hot" spot except with the geriatric crowd. If you think that that motorhome was cold, you should have lived with Willie in that boxcar. ;-)
