This just came to me when I was wandering around a farmers market and noticing all the kids wandering without anyone to keep an eye on them...
Children, no matter how old,
Need to never be out & about alone,
They should always go places with a friend,
Because there are those out there that would of them offend…
If someone wants a child,
It doesn’t matter if that kid is quite wild,
That kid will be taken, never to return…
What will that child be used for,
Slavery still does, though hard to believe, exist,
Some people are just wired wrong,
That though does not excuse their aberrant behavior,
Some kids are used for prostitution,
Though thoroughly it is against the constitution,
To get them back, we can only pray to the savior.
We only regret these things, "after," They happen. We don't have to helicopter our children and negatively use the best anti-abduction discussions to help them. We do have to give our children knowledge and tools to use in the eventual possibility of reduction.
Thank you for bringing about conscience awareness. I'D LOVE to be in charge of these pervs punishment. Even when children are at their parents friends homes WITH their parents, beware. One little, "Oh, come down the basement. I have a surprise for you."......parents are upstairs with his wife having coffee, laughing, and having a great time. Thank you for this write, Ed.
Sometimes I don't think parents fully appreciate their kids, or even what it means to be a parent, until something happens. A very sober reminder here.
