Circum-Navigating the World, In My Minds Eye…
In my boat that first day,
We did leave the sheltered harbor of Cape May,
Throwing caution to the wind,
And come what may,
I sailed her out to sea,
To see what could be seen,
In the next harbor, far south, so green…
From there we did navigate across the Caribbean sea,
So clear and green it did look like an emerald to be seen,
Through the canal, just a big gate it was,
Between the clear Caribbean and the sparkling Pacific so blue…
North then towards Alaska, our eventual destination,
Of our world cruise, so much time, so many nations…
Passed LA, not someplace I would want to visit,
The smog can be seen from 50 nautical out,
Heading to stop in San Francisco, want to cruise under the bridge,
Maybe someone will take a picture of us, from an overlooking ridge…

"Circum-Navigating the World, in My Minds Eye..." offers a stimulating reading.
This poem can be developed into a full Novel. It feels like a full range Motion Picture.
Healthy Dreams!
