Feathered Wings

Off the cuff...

Sliver of light nearly dreamed
Taunting resting demons to rise
No sound, pains silently screamed
Ragged is the bandage for eyes

Falling or flying through air
Where are my feathered wings
Without a moment to spare
Faith of self, strength sings

Water, Fire, Air and Earth
Below, Above and Within
Seven directions of rebirth
Wings grown, I begin
