 The dawn of my delight

Holds the wealth of wisdom,
The light of heaven seems to rise again,
How oft do I peek through this light into joy,
A glee that transcends the riches of earthly desires.
The dawn of jubilation, unchanging in ecstasy
The dawn of godliness that rises once again.
In every weeping soul, in every aching heart,
The morn that bursts into a brilliance of light.
Whose streaks gift the vastness of spirit,
In this earthly garden, chanting the tunes of eternity.
Such is the tune that falls from the lips of heaven.

The cosmic consciousness unaffected,
By the waking of birth and sleeping of death,
The consciousness that lights the wealth inside,
Walking away from the illusory pain.
Agony that is birthed from the labyrinthine of life,
Shatters into the light of a breaking dawn,
That illumes us from within to soar,
With a heavenly freedom of spirit.
A lighted awareness, a bliss of detachment,
Is held in its streaks, that holds all the wealth.
The gleam that carries the truth of a search.
Such is the satiation of an ancient quest,
By the light of wisdom breaking through the dawn,
The heart of heaven, an abode of luminary wealth.
The mind perspired with restlessness,
At last, rests in the wisdom of this eternal retreat.
A sanctum that floods the dampened mind,
With waters of an unending peace.
Such is the peace that streams through,
The lips of my thirsty soul and travels to my heart,
To satiate my thirst, to quench my unfulfilled needs.

Such is the light that floods over my pilgrim heart,
As I roam aimlessly in quest of this truth,
The truth that falls from the lips of heaven,
As the light of wisdom to my eyes.
A night of cosmic dissolution neared its end,
With the dawn of a cosmic evolution,
That glowed with effulgence in my slumbering soul.
The gem of gold bursts in brilliance
As the cosmic light peeks through the night,
To reach the unlit crevice of my wandering deeps.
And the weeping darkness turns to luminous strands,
So, every dawn now heralds the beginning of life.
A truth that glimmers on the sunlit shores,
Yet, I fail to behold the advent of dawn,
Save by the path of last night’s darkness.
Through the blackest nights, through the densest gloom
Dawn breaks in strikes, through its illumed streaks,
With a solemnity of promise, that enters in deep.

As I rise to taste the dawn in the richness of its light,
Love begins to rise in my eyes,
 and how beautiful everything seems!
The nearer the darkness, the intense is its light,
The brooding the weeping, immense is it glee.
My soul who dared to dream on the solitary shores,
Can find the brilliance in the dawn of a rising day.

How did it happen that—joy and pain, their lips came together?
See the way, the night makes a way for the sun to light the sky.
Everything is held in a moment that caught the breath.
When sorrow departs, joy arrives to kiss the soul,
And in the wonders of the moment, delectable in taste,
Ecstasy comes to seize the plight.
Such is the timing when agony and ecstasy meet one another.
Knowing it is time to greet in the wake of a beauty,
As every cycle comes with its own phase,
The moment—when the birds chirped,
new songs found their flight,
The grief melted, the light kindled,
and the flowers bloomed in the kiss of joy and pain.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
