I was drawn to My Garden because it made me think of The Garden by Andrew Marvell, in which he writes of the mind, finding pleasure in the garden: "Annihilating all that's made
To a green thought in a green shade."
I like your poem, Isabella, particularly the line:
"the wind's whistle in the trees"
And I like your painting, too. The path invites you to walk down it, to look around the garden.
~~Isabella~~
Lovely your garden of colours, textures, and depth.
Brilliant the eye so blessed in your artistry.
Spring of the year to comtemplate the play of flowers
and the quiet loe of a library.
I like this!! verse and graphic nicely done
To a green thought in a green shade."
