Putting together
thoughts that move fast in cycle
like today's world worse
nightmare, loss of innocence
shifting like dry sand, flaking,
scorching, blistering
by Reality Wind
antithesis
of peace, respect, love.......more love...
creating constant puzzle..
Tamed life oblivious
of better times..... FREEDOM.......to
go out, trust, play, laugh...
......caste away... left image
skewed.....that echoes bloody wars.
The fleeting prowess
of glassess to truly see....
...diminished with the
moving sand of today...much
going on around the World.
Tell me pleeeeeease.... who set
on the wind of hate from East
that burnt out human
heart, faded away kind mind,
rusted soul........stale glass made
symbol of ego
boosted to max...........no longer
let in... the image
of HOPE.......reminder to those
turned against West...Us...the Rest.

Very sad to say, Isabella, but owing to hatred, those days are all gone! Thanks for sharing this lovey piece of work, all of us to read!

in colour of dialogue and enjoyment than is
...the Word History of Today.
Hope...we will be able to dream the Great American
Dream...again...Dream...that ties all mankind together.
An interesting perspective..the moving sands of today.

OH indeed WHO ( or perhaps WHAT)
This is a question I have often asked myself and others..to this day I still have NO adequate answer..:(
Perhaps the sands of time will one day cover all the blood sweat and tears enabling mankind to start again..hope never dies ..does it?
Thank you Dear Isabella for this magnificent piece..am saving it..
Blessings,

who will get the short end?

Your poem, on the other hand, drips of despair. As I've repeatedly stated to others, I think that our instantaneous communication these days amplifies events and pictures them in a kind of reality never before seen or understood. The world is always been in turmoil and the twentieth century with two world wars and the world on the brink of nuclear annihilation was much worse than this century will ever be because we are gradually becoming aware of our ignorance and stupidity of hating one another and war.
I hope that you would see that and not worry about despairing poems that really are the reality of the world today.
