The Ancient Moonah Tree on the coastal top of the Hill...Vaucluse Hill...overlooking the vast expanse of South Pacific Ocean and utilized in this poem as a metaphor for longevity...true wisdom...mystery of life...death...re-generation...

Tank poem 5-7-5-7-7 and iPhone pic by Isabella Koldras.

Wish you all at the AD...all avid readers...fellow Artists and...those interested in Science/Ethics/Mysterious...a very Happy and Peaceful and exciting New Year of your creative work...connecting the Art/Creativity/Spiritual/Emotional side of human life...never losing the Intuitive and the sense of closeness to Mother Nature...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Poem Artwork

Cruel' n fickle wind
slipped off through tiny crevice
of Truth stealthy path
to van Diemen's serene Land
knows not own destination
clouds shifty tensions that swarm

yet, unseen to Town's

"yet, unseen to Towns" or "Town's?" I don't think you need the apostrophe, because that makes it possessive. Short, but beautiful imagery.

Beautifully written. No matter the wind, if the roots of self are strong, survival reigns. Just lovely!

This brings me to memories of the Monterey Cypress trees of our Central California Pacific Coast. Beautiful work, Isabella.

When you wrote of the "cruel and fickle wind," I immediately thought of the groves of Live Oak that grow here in South Texas. These oak take on a character that seems driven by the wind, as they bend away from the shore for as long as 500 years.

You have a beautiful place from which to contemplate life and its wonders even if those Moonah trees look like overgrown broccoli.
Happy New Year, Isabella.
