Everyone took centuries,
Nay! eons to get here
to obtain a human form...
When I trod
the Himalayas
there were scores of people
snaking around
Sri Yamunotri
like a Vasuki cobra encircling
Lord Shiva's majestic sapphire throat
their pining footsteps thundering
through the ancient Indian skies
...a blink... on the scrolls of time
...a sigh of ecstasy
O Divine Self!
that is..was..
And forever will be!
