Sea of Solace

I wandered for the longest time,
And sought some place to hide...
But I am now a placid wind,
And your love... is where I now abide.
Your water is my rock;
the sole foundation...
for all my life entails;
Seeking certain solace
in the billows of your sacred sails;
Now full to overflowing
with boundless magnitude
of balmy breeze...
Your surface is the grass I tread,
your swells are now my trees...
I need no destination, no guiding light;
the current always takes me through...
To waters still...
reflecting bright;
the priceless memory of you.
