Creator Prayer in Solidarity with Dorothy Day, Servant of God

1946–Servant of God

Creator, Creator, Master of us all

Within Jesus Christ Our Savior Risen

You have brought salt and light to the suffering

And Good News to the masses.

We remember today the great charity and justice

Your servant Patricio has manifested in activism 

In an uncommon magnanimity of spirit from Mary house in 

The Lower East Side of Manhattan the place of the Catholic Worker Movement. 

During times of hardship and  deprivation he 

Has Partnershiped  with the  homeless and unwanted

As a champion of civil rights, worker rights and tenant rights. 

As a singular and uncommon champion of defendants in 

Witness Against Torture, DC,  and immigrant rights at McAllen, TX

He has faced the disdain of the powerful and rejection and imprisonment  by those who lack understanding in the tradition of RFK, Dorothy Day and Caesar Chavez and MLK.

Beloved by the Holy Spirit  share Patricia’s  compassion and purpos

As a disciple of the Chrestus the Risen divine give unselfishly as he has to the Body of Christ in education bringing  salt and Light and the gospel in thought word and deed to the peoples of the world. 

We pray we Patricio in the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ
