I’M FREE

Floating in the dark of night

After birds have taken flight.

Out in the sea, I drift alone

Where no one else dares to roam.

Tears fall upon my face

As they increase their pace.

I am flooded with grief and despair.

I free my braid and cut chunks of hair.

I don’t need to be a beauty anymore.

He’s walked out of the proverbial door.

I am free to drift with the night or

Visit the depths of the ocean floor.

No one searches for me.

I take a step, I’m free.

A sad poetic song.
Life is meant to be LIVED all day long.
Give the blues a KICK IN THE ASS
If all else fails, go smoke a little grass.
But never give up the ship!
Keep in the game of life.
For another sun is a rising
NEVER GIVE UP THE SHIP!

Know that I am right.
Love and Blessings,

John Mike

Your words are a broken heart that the person is experiencing in this poem.............depression..........feeling, what is it? To write of it is to know it. Therapeutic to one feeling much the same way......helping someone. Powerful message!

Love ya!

The ocean floor is quite dark,
The landscape there quite stark,
If you visit be sure to say hello,
To the crazy creature known as the snark.
He resides therein keeping company with a female shark...-e-

A time to check out. But not really very timely. One cannot check out when one is in the deepest of despair. One should wait until all is calm again before contemplating such action be taken.
