Lights up the night

The water creeps

To brighten up the night

It had already been a long day

But you find yourself fading away

Blissful slumber overtakes your senses

Letting down your defenses

You sleep yourself out

Now you have no escape route

The water has crept into the house

It was quieter than a mouse

The water has crept

You have slept

Time stands still

As you’re filled with a chill

It was a dark and stormy night
