Through every crisis, really, there is born an opportunity. Kate, you've disciplined yourself to remain a positive reactionary instead of multiplying sorrow and it can be seen here in your den and in our dens where you have left charged and uplifting reviews. You are with so much beauty and we appreciate your words of enthusiasm that flow through your angelic form. Blessed Be.
Only you dear Kate are able to see the blessings through the hardships. May your optimistic gift, along with your incredible talent for poetic expression, continue to flourish. We, your admirers, draw so much from the well of your creativity.
Blessings abundant to you

Profoundly positive attitude and outlook, just what I'd expect from an exceptional person like yourself Kate. You hit the nail on the head with this one, in every loss there is always a spiritual gain...your an inspiration Mizzz MP, hope you had a wonderful holiday.
I find peace and acceptance in this exceptional write Kate. Life gives us lemons..I've had my share as have you..but we look for the beauty in our solace and strength in our surroundings as in the appreciation for life's simple pleasures...swallows and kittens...and the basic truth that we may choke on a seed every now and then, but we still savour the lemonade of life.
This poem expresses a healthy attitude toward loss, not to wallow in loss or use it to garner sympathy votes, but to find the beauty, the blessing, the lesson, the gift, and to grow. Exceptional imagery and overall lovely work, Kate.
A gift of words, dear (((Kate))). This is absolutely gorgeous poetry; deep; meaningful; healing. Thank you, my friend, I shall save this treasure. Well done!

while my heart aches for your loss and misfortune, I am lifted by the underlying strength and beauty of your soul, borne to us in this beautiful poem. grace and peace to you, Dawn
i concur with the motif and message of this wonderfully illustrated poem ... when you were away i wrote a poem with similiar subject matter but not nearly as visual and emotionally effective as this poem is ...
Unexpected moments
Unforeseen ordeals
Fortune in disaster
Life destroys then heals
Light within the darkness
Hope within despair
Life continues to flourish
Even in the deepest tear
From the depths of sorrow, we find the greatest joys. It doesn't seem like it could be true, but it proves itself time and time again. Perhaps we can look to Job to see that this has been the case throughout the ages. Job had a wonderful life, until he was stricken down and lost everything, but through his piety he was once again rewarded, this time with much more than he had to begin with. Life has a sort of balance that reminds us over and over again...as one door closes, another is opened to us. I am glad that you have been able to temper your grief and suffering with the gifts that surround you and that you have been able to see the light beyond the veil that has shrouded your world. Beautiful and introspective, this poem is an open book to your soul, Kate.
Take care,
Sherry
It truly has been a very hard year for you, Kate, but it's also wonderful that you can still find some beauty in it. Keep On, Keepin On, and I hope next year brings you more beauty, and less 'hard.'
Sweet Kate I have truly missed you and your warm wonderful writes. This is a fine example of your talent that combines warmth with real life to give hope and inspiration. Good to see ya back kid.
