A verse of encouragement

You know what you know because you learned
Your life was meant for something greater than tales turned
You were valuable to people for their own reasons
Even in the smallest of ways to grow in a season
To be a member of an ascending small world,
Defying the decadence into which you were hurled
Beyond your abilities or want tos or beliefs
Knowing that better was there to achieve
In making choices that improve your personal being
Without having to be told there's virtue in believing
That good can be made and found and reserved
For those who learn to trust in doing better than a word
Spoken or written to lead and mislead
Making wrongs right, giving bitterness the heave
Away from the living of the good for the better
Revealing the simpleness of that choosing can tether
Your vision of living to a future of mirth
Unfettered by others who gave up on your worth
Improving the conceptions of the real you who
Could be and would be given the time to pursue
The wants and the dreams, the making and doings
Of all you thought you could be without the ruing
Another's success, some other's achievement
Forging a path that someone like you could believe in
When looking for a way to improve their own life
Displacing the pitfalls of anger and strife
To give all their strengths to improving life's track
And living eyes forward their goals as their path
It's never too late to become and let go
Of a past where you had no voice or control
It's in every decision made daily you see
If you only believe in the relevance of free
For freedom is not a tawdry lack of control
It's choices complimentary to the raising and growth
Of a happiness, success, achievement for all
Who wish to move onward into a future who called
To them in their youth, behave and you'll see
All the great things the world will achieve
If given the time and opportunities to
Learn, live and develop, just like you.
