Forget now the darkness wallowing your mind,
forget now the shadows cast forth to blind,
forget now oppressions boiling to steep
the limbs of a willow that wish you to weep.

Forget now your lies yoked ‘bout your neck,
forget now the chain you linked with regrets,
dressed in rejections adorned by resent,
dance with the anger you gave your consent.

Forget the crazed madness that you well plan,
forget all the innocence struck down by your hand,
forget all that rotted and putrid strong words
you chose to spew others so proudly absurd.

Bask in your mirror, warm your cold smile,
that grins when released among the quiet mild,
shelter your ego keep it near breast
where ill harbored deeds never beset.

Toss the harsh malady you brewed as a tea,
replace it with visions that lure you to free
all the calamity raised by your scowl,
amid all the wildness pulled from moon’s howl.

Take now your own hands shape them anew,
dip them in softness of life’s silver pools,
inhale the silence of petal soft breaths,
forget now the shallows fill in life’s depths.
