i lost 3 relatives in the civil war, one in wwI, two in WWII ( my father making it through,) one in viet nam and a close friend in the present war ... i salute them all and all those who given their lives for their country ... it would be nice if mankind could learn to settle their differences without going to war ... we would all have larger families ...

Bravo! Thank you for your service, and for this wonderful rembrance and tribute to the veterans! I lost loved ones in nam, and hate war, but I always defend the soldiers and our government who does not go to war without what they believe is a good reason. I have a tape of John F Kennedy, on TV telling us the reason we were going into VietNam,he showed on a tv screen the way the North communists were taking over the South.
There are those now who say we could have won that war if we stayed there, but the protesters made our leaders back out. They want to do the same thing today. God help us if they get their way.We shouldn't leave Iraq until we have accomplished our goal! I still hate war!
