I sit here crisp cool air flowing all around me.
Hearing the sounds of the forest. Blending in with the environment around me. Oh the smells you usually wouldn't notice. The sounds seem more in tune with my ears. How beautiful it is where the predator prevails.
Quietly trying not to disturb my surroundings. It’s so lovely here deep in the forest, sometimes the desert. You see the beauty God has created. You learn to become as one with this raw beautiful world. Noise all around like a humming, wind whistles through the tree's. I hear water rippling in a near by creek. Crickets and birds sing together in some melodic tune.
SNAP! Was that a branch? Yes, Yes something is coming my way. Breath, don't jump, sit watching, waiting. Through the tree's, bushes rattling. It is definitely coming my way! Its ears seem to scan the area, very cautiously smelling the air for your scent. Slowly, very slowly watching the environment.
Did I disturb the surroundings? Is it going to step within my range? How magical and majestic this creature of the forest is. 100 yards, no now 60, 40. Pull back quietly, slowly, skillfully. My sights aimed right behind its shoulder blade. Release, the arrow flies swiftly, smoothly. It falls to the soft moss covered ground. Stillness. The crickets and birds song changes to a different frantic tune. This world changes slightly for the moment.

Hunting is definitely better than wars. Excellent poem.
Great desciption and imagery. The beauty of God's creation was well-displayed in your words; the serenity of this was quickly changed when disturbed. I like how you played the contrast of the mood at the last stanza.
