Crunching hot sand touches more than my feet
It feels lonely as taken from the shores place
Wind blows it to the rocks rough embrace
Warm sounds of the water whistles
Distant drumming song of the elders reminds me
What though do I pronounce, so sadly?
My memory fails from distant lessons learned
Thinking I draw a stark blank empty slate
Humming begins in my cold hard heart
Only driving clouds from my souls aching stance
Driven to the waters edge I lay down in the sand
Giving way finally the wind whips around me
As I feel mothers last drawn out trace
Crystals of black sand blind my vision
Taken aback voices come swiftly rushing
As true visions start in harmony to play
Teri, I rarely rate anything, but this particular photo and poetry work really touched my heart. We are truely kindred spirits. Love your work, look forward to us working and learning together down this earthly path my friend.

art work and poetry over the last couple of
years ... it grows and grows and grows. To
