Psalm 28:7: "The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him." ------------------------------------------------------------- A radiant blue dragonfly hovers amidst the pond iris A foraging otter glides smoothly across the still waters And silence blankets the vista from pole to pole Wonder and awe reverberates its timeless refrain Yes I am, I am glad to be alive I know I have been very fortunate Blessed with devoted wife and sons I stand in reverence at every gift Delivered from beyond the veil And give thanks to the one above The Lord, the giver of all To be faithful until death Earns the crown of life To them that love and trust him Comes miracles, bounties and mercies Be still my heart and understand Nothing is by chance Copyright by Peter Paton 2005

It is the time of year to reflect on what we do have and to attain truth in whatever our religious belief, of our worldly ambitions and our personal freedoms. Listen to the sages, because knowledge helps humankind liberate itself. Freeing oneself is being able to live on another plane of existence. I listen to the Sound of Silence often, Peter and it is golden, for I live in this cosmic circuit with the Goddess who guides my pagan beliefs.
