It is interesting that there are male and female trees. The trees in your poem may be doing more than just swaying together in the breeze. I love how you pointed out that trees enable us to breathe.
A very fine poem that falls off at the end. 'enabling life to grow' should be changed to 'enabling life to know'. Life or thinking is our means 'to know' and when things are known as 'same' life will end and love will prevail. We should not celebrate life, we should celebrate love and know the difference. Spiritism says that every living organism including the Earth has a spirit, and each is affected by the other. The trees therefore react positively or negatively in how we interact with them. It's also a nice thought in that it makes us responsible for what we do. Your poem is in harmony with those beliefs. And it is so soothing.
