The veil of willow falls against the sky,
A picturesque Monet for all who views,
A bird's sanctuary sounds for passers strolling by,
An orchestra- yellow, reds, and trumpet blues.
To sit and peer all day for hours to hang,
Upon sweet sounds as angels sing and play,
A brush, a stroke, such art with tones that bang,
Out love which paints bridges of hope today.
Oh bask upon a branch with me tonight,
And feel the eloquence a song so sweet,
To feel the wind, her howl, her sound, her might,
A stream meandering below, so complete.
A frame of gold to hold mind’s eye for ages,
Serene these hours I take with me always,
A love of song and art bellows life’s stages,
To help me through the clear or grey fall days.
A line of mums in manicured estate,
I lay my pillow on the lawn to share,
Oh time my friend will pass and will not wait,
With you life’s so much easier to bear.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
