Such a Pearl is Lily

She’s a little bundle of baby with soft chubby cheeks
Not very much hair yet and her bottom has leaks
She can spot a clean shirt from at least twenty feet
Spits up on her grandma and Poppy says neat

She can slug back her milk bottle like a wino for sure

Scream like a banshee if we don’t give her more

She looks sent from heaven asleep in the night

You can’t help but love her, when you hold her tight

She just found her neck so her Mother’s aglow

She’s changing so quickly and starting to grow

Like little Maggie Simpson she sucks on her sookie

And at stealing hearts she sure isn’t a rookie

She has her Daddy’s eye’s her mother’s nose

And just like Aunt Marge she hates to wear clothes

She goo’s and she ga’s when we tickle her belly

That’s my little granddaughter our baby called Lily
