Thanks for all the concern and blessings I received after the poem I shared last night...I am feeling much better thank you all.

Poem Artwork

as the sun rises over the horizon

the rays warm my eyes

as i feel them like a gentle caress

upon my face as i lay in bed

counting my blessings in

the new day that it has awoken

rising I stretch languidly

allowing my body and mind

to unify as an entity of the world

new day…new experiences

new chances to love and be loved

one day that we can live to the fullest

that we will never get to see again

I smile as I dress…

today, like the old saying goes

is the first day of the rest of my life

I will embrace it and the world

around me…hugs to the world

hugs to all of you………

one day that we can live to the fullest
that we will never get to see again
Fee...having stared the reaper in the eye a time or two myself, I learned long ago that a day lived can never be again. As I get older, I sometimes regret the ones I have squandered with needless worry over what's to come tomorrow. Because tomorrow may never come.
Be well, my friend and enjoy the day God hath brung.

Walt

King Soloman once said, "There is always something new under the sun" and you've discovered your new day.

Hooray! You've made my day. I'm so glad you're feeling better. Remember, "Getting older is not for sissies." That poster is hanging in one of my physician's exam rooms.
Hugs,
Marcia
