Winston Churchill once stated, that a man lives longer if he cries, and the old salt sure had a good innings aye, this darned playing it tough can be the ruination of a man, yah gotta shed tears sooner or later...lovely write, Im still around too, just been awful busy..

Great write cuz and yes behind every tear there is a story. Tears also help wash away pain and hurt and are good for us.

I loved this Fee. But, I went a different direction. Salt tears sting the lashes a cold heart leaves. Great poem!

Dear Fee -there are two types of tears, actually three types - the emotional type ones of this poem contain many proteins, hormone based proteins, one of which is a natural pain killer in the body, forget the name, the residue of which is released when we cry, and this alone makes one feel a bit better - no - tears, all types, don't lie -they can't - and the pain in your poem and the question you want answering, requests honestly, an honest answer - because these tears of pain, don't lie. Such pain unanswered comes from silent 'lips so cruel' indeed. Love to you Fee, Nicky xx

Oh dear Cuz Felix, you stole my heart away for these words are so true, TEARS DON'T LIE how very true, as I cry many but mostly for joy I thank God above. Might I add it is ok for both women and men to cry tears, it just shows that they think and love from their hearts. Thank you for sharing with us.

A womans tears just breaks me up. I only saw my wife cry on two occasions, on her father death and on her mothers.
