Summer nights are magical, no matter what your age. My favorite time is just as the sun is setting and all is quiet 'cept for cricket song. And those nights with a huge, full moon. You can feel and touch its magic in your pen, Fee...

I too have such romantic memories of summers gone by. Many of them are so memorable. I loved to take a late evening ride out into the country to smell the honeysuckle, and Tom loved the rides too. Now, alone, I don't do it anymore, but memories till abide in my heart.
Thanks for the reminder of those memorable summers from a romantic at heart yourself too. Cool really cool.

Hi Fee, You write like the summer of life! I love summer, too, especially because I don't have to put on all that extra gear just to go outside!!!! Thank you for sharing this... maybe in winter, you could write a summer piece like this, it would give me hope in the dead of winter, you know... :)

Romance is in the air, Fee. Summer is the season for sizzling romances--that is, if you are not married. When you have the love of your lifetime with you every day of the year you can either take love for granted or nurture the flame. Those of us who choose the latter, enjoy evenings before the fire, curled up with a book, looking over a cup of hot chocolate with equal delight. I hope all those romances you are crafing so eloquently are coming true for you my friend. You deserve the best. :-) Linda
