Poem Artwork

Just two leafs undaunted
she ponders this sign
days grow ever shorter
while heavens realign

Red silk sheaths a body
age chose to dignify
longs for his caresses
will fate not answer why

Gazing portal of eternity
feels love in every word
beating hearts are muted
only to each other heard

but dreams cannot be taken
nor even be readdressed
stored moment in love's book
forever two leafs pressed!

Fee, the only thing about this one that troubled me is that itty bitty red print. Hard on these old eyes. But other than that, this one gets all the best marks.
