Time for reflecting on the many Blessings in our life. Happy family gatherings to take away the strife. Another year about to come to an end. New beginnings to think about, things we’ll mend. Kinfolk sharing a bountiful feast. Stuffing themselves just like the wild beast. Gorging on turkey, all the trimmings, and some pie. Ignoring the signals to quit before you die. Venture away from the table to digest. Immobile, now all are ready for a rest. Night falls quickly, another Thanksgiving now past. Give thanks to the Lord for memories that will last.

Cynthia, this is most fitting acrostic, my love. You have clearly illustrated and taken the definition and meaning of Thanksgiving to new heights, with this marvelous feast for the mind and soul! Your unique talent is obvious, and I am so happy and thankful to be able to share this holiday with you. I am looking to sharing many more with you. You are surely a terrific addition to “The Den!” Now, what time was it that we are going to eat again?… lol! Let the feast began! Thanks for sharing your work.
