Life can be tough and I try my best to cope, But I am facing the world on my own. I continue the uphill climb with no end. Send a lifeline, I cannot walk alone.
I’ve been helpful and kind; I give it my all. The time has come to reap what I have sown. I am growing weary; shed some light my way. Guidance I seek, I cannot walk alone.
So many trials have been put before me, Dark days turned to night, ‘n the stars still shone. Through the strife, I still see beauty in this world. I now know that, I do not walk alone.
I have my share of burdens, yet I feel blessed, Though I have no seat on the royal throne. Come what may, I have strength to continue on. He is with me, I do not walk alone.
When my days come to an end, my time to pass, As He calls me to His Heavenly home, Oh what a glorious journey it will be. His hand I’ll take, I will not walk alone.
Cynthia, this is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me so much of one of my favorite hymns.

Should be added to King David's canon of Psalms, Cynthia. Has the same struggle, heart-longing and laid-bare honesty. Cynthia, you know when I read this yesterday, I knew it would enable many to see they too shall never walk alone. You have brought a magnificent feast for the mind and soul to the poetic table for all to enjoy. I am very proud of you, and I shall always hold your hand through the journey through time and space, my love. You sure you only (dabble writing poetry?)… lol. Honey, it truly is a beautiful piece.
