An Age in Retrospect (Take One)
We went to the moon did we?
Reality obscured by time.
The 20th Century, cinematic in its achievement
a hundred years worthy of celluloid rhyme.
A mise-en-scene of conflict and grief,
technological advancement and ways to give relief.
Framing the fortunes of the few in a visual media crime -
for 75 million others - it was just their time.
Awarded a montage of ideologies and the final solution.
For best director and supporting cast,
and a disturbing, ugly, evolution.

Thank you for your kind words, the '75 million others' I refer too are the 75 million souls consumed by conflict in the 20th Century.
