I want only the sun to warm me
Let it melt the blue day and make butter
of winter--go now--let me remember
when I was a wildflower bending the wind
to my will on strong stems--free
Oh the ease of letting the world pass
through me--being wild it let me be
Quiet now--settled in a bed of grass
for comfort--I am short of dreams
and long on thought
I need only the sun to warm me

an absolutly beautiful poem Lin!
I especially love how it read as though I was listening
giving those gentle commands (speaking to winter)
