Even if they are caged and defeated-- Lions look so proud, noble and hold their baring against their caged lives.
I used 'thy' as it gave a sense of a far more 'crested' feel. One that allowed the nobility of the lion seem that much more. Anyone could put the, and it would sound less than the lion really looks, or is, in my eyes. I could not use any other word.
Proud thy noble beast
shall stir imagination;
Striking in defeat.
Yes Heather, the Lion is majestic, no matter where they are; in captivity or in the wild; the lion sleeps tonight. Thnx for sharing Heather, I really enjoyed this a great deal. I love this because upon my visiting
the zoo on several past occasions
I always wondered how these awesome creatures
continued to radiate such majestic essense.
