Stories and poems about "grandma" are the warmest ones there are. Your poem is beautiful and brings back many memories. As a child we didn't know what a blanket was. The only thing we had to use was those wonderful patchwork quilts. I recall neighboring ladies would spread their time between one household and another, as they sewed quilts as needed on a frame that hung from the ceiling. (In those days every household had one of those quilt frames it seemed.)
BEAUTIFUL, LOVING MEMORIES ARE EVEN BETTER WHEN WE HAVE SOMETHING TANGIBLE TO REFER TO. THIS IS A WONDERFUL TRIBUTE TO YOUR GRANDMOTHER DONE WELL. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS.

The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
