Peyote Howl

Elders warn
of premonition,
prophecy through
yellow almond-shaped
eyes and arctic white,

in a tent
along my people's
trapline, smoke of peyote
sent to the sky spirit, in the
North,

the reindeer
hear the night
howls, in the West
kachinas dance, the
medicine bundle of holy
objects taken out,

there is a
fire in the Dakotas,
the Rosebud Reservation
answers the peyote howl warning
of a potential threat, and I, as a survivor
wait for the intervention to assist me...I listen
to the sky,

Buffalo Calf Woman
says, "Remember in me
there is Four ages. I am
leaving, but I will look back
on your people every age, and
in the end, I will return"...

I...

Sage, the prophecy of lore runs deep in you words my friend. Wisdom, and commitment to truth are also prevalent in its message of the ages. May peace and love bring great joy to your heart my friend. Jon Michael

I have connected to your Buffalo Calf Woman, just like Karena, she will return when the time is right. I love this Sage, makes me want to write another episode of Karena..I have been keeping her quiet, because I am trying to get a publisher to publish my series...I do not want to self publish, I want it to be discovered by a publisher...

I know that Karena has met Buffalo Calf Woman sometime in the past..I shall meditate on this one.

Wonderfully filled with amazing imagery and lots of energy abound in this one.

Much peace, love and light,
Amber

And here I thought this to be about some kind of mid western smokeable, or am I mistaken with regards the name peyote...either way I found it to be kind of insightful, like you know alot about this sort of thing...(for some reason you went through my head today while I was walking in the ocean on the beach, so I had to stop by and say HI) Ed
