A study in personality traits. How well do I know you?

Poem Artwork

the wrens pick
at watermelon seeds
from your yesterday's mouth

blue jays scratch
at this morning's offering
of sourdough your hands kneaded

today's flowers release
their redolence with open petals
your pheromones run wild like a mustang

old window panes repurpose
into a chalkboard with your
farmers market prices in red chalk

mason jars filled
with amber the whiskey
loosens your tongue

a weathered horse rope
that rode on a saddle begs
to be used did you catch that?

A nice, peaceful poem Sage. I'd like to say I can picture it all, but I'm afraid that if I think that nthen perhaps I am missing the whole picture.

Keep writing,

You know me all too well Sister Sage!

Mason jars of whiskey keep my tongue working. But sometimes my wrists hurt from the rope burn.

Peace,

Dayvid

intoxicating poem Sage
I have 2 weathered horse ropes
the leader one I hung with the skull
on my winged arbor & the other one
I slung over the little old wood chair
I grew those goose neck gourds for the wrens
it's infront of the bushel basket.
Oh I caught that alright xo

Thistle Seed filled pantyhose
& the pagan wind chime
(made of deer bones)
Vickie xo

Look Away Silence by Edward Patterson

Martin Powers wanted an ironing board for Christmas. Instead, he got . . . Matthew Kieler, a non-returnable gift, but a gift that kept on giving. A powerful tale of survival, compassion and unapologetic love in the time of AIDS.
