"Don't Forget To Throw Away The Trash" I recall this saying on the "Peaceful Warrior" book and movie. It is also in a book by Tom Pace, Mentor: The Kid & The CEO. Anyway, "Don't Forget To Throw Away The Trash," refers to The trash or garbage in which fill our minds on a daily basis. Read on....

Trash piles up in our minds. Trash from the newspaper. Trash from the internet. Trash from the television. Trash - from people talking about others. Trash - from politics, local and national. The trash piles up high. It clutters up the mind. All of this negative news put us in a bad bind. So take out the trash and throw it all away. For you have much better things to do with your life as you go about your day. After the trash is out, please don't forget to fill it with love, peace, God's grace and kindness. I have often told my children that life is way to short to be lugging around unwanted luggage, so get rid of it because it will burden them. thank you for sharing.

This is so true. You have a remarkable way of sending out important messages to your readers! Our minds are like sponges. We absorb so much information, junk, advertisements, and false ideas from the newspapers and all types of media. If we do not sort out the trash, and get rid of some, we carry around a huge amount of sand on our backs. It can be very draining. I loved this poem because it is a reminder to me that I must seperate the valuabe information of the newspapers, from the garbage, or useless information. It can change our way of thinking, and if we do not get rid of the trash, it can sometimes affect our relationships with others. Spending too much time carrying around the trash really is draining! Great poem! Bravo!
