I thought about this after corresponding with another author about our military in uniform.

Our soldiers pay the ultimate price for our freedom every day. We can NEVER repay them. We should all treat them with reverance and respect. Meeting their needs is standard, Exceeding their needs is acceptable. Going above and beyond to see that they get the best is honorable. We should all be honorable or we shall perish as a nation. We should send letters to Congresspersons to work a law to honor our soldiers, for this is the only country that a soldier is ignored after service. The country that a soldier has no RIGHTS only obligations.

"Our American Soldiers" must receive their respect and the right to a dignified life after service.

Line one: "Our soldiers pay the ultimate price for our freedom every day." ~ and when they come home, we give them disgraceful conditions for their lives.

Good posting, Poet. "Our American Soldiers" strikes responsibilty and rings the bells of Justice.
