The diciples needed forgiveness and Christ forgave them after He was betrayed. Man may have a hard time forgiving others but with Christ it is truly, "No problem!" for 1 John 1:9 clearly states: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
THE WORD OF GOD SAYS...'I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME'...THUS, ONLY THROUGH THE STRENGTH OF ALMIGHTY GOD CAN WE FORGIVE DEEP, PAINFUL HURTS. A truer statement so hard to do....but the "if" we don't forgive, how often we carry such a loadsome bundle only God can carry. Very nice picture with this. Well done!
Tell ME about it, John!! I have been through things and I have forgiven my two older sisters (they abused me emotionally as well as mentally); however, it's hard to FORGET!! I still feel the pain years later! Great message in this; well done!

This is a true word John. I believe many more people would forgive if religious people who have never walked a particular path didn't embellish the process to fit their own fancies. I've heard "forgive and forget," among other man made axioms. Forgiveness, pure and simple, is like drinking cool water from an artesian well in the midst of a desert. But then, you know that my friend. (and I say this sincerely) your are not among the pharasees who bind burdens to men that they themselves fail to carry. It is not the command to forgive that trips us up--it is the religious requirements to forgive irresponsibly that often builds a wall between hurting people and the savior who loves them.
