The Native American Indian revered wolves and bears They treasured wildlife and the "Great Spirit" that was in the air They loved animals so much that they named their children after them way back then We should value them as well as some of these animals are decentants of mans best friend The American Indian respected nature and only took from her what was needed to live. But in today’s society man takes and forgets that we also need to give! It's ironic because in reality Indians were more civilized than most of us are today Perhaps we have gone astray because the American Indian truly had a better way We can learn much from our ancestors; the great American Indians were lovers of the land They were majestic, colorful and full of life that made this country vast and oh so grand! However sadly, much of their culture was destroyed and put away in books But we have so much to learn from them, we need to take a second look! Still there is another thing that good folks in this land called America should fear. Right now, man is destroying the very animals that they all once held so dear We must stop this destruction because we cannot replace life with musuems and animated displays We must treasure America and respect the beauty of what God has provided us, right now, starting today! It is sad what is happening, just when the wolves were making a comeback. Let us hope that the consideration we made letting the Native Americans run casinos will help them bring some of their heritage back.

As for the music, a few years ago, we were driving through Monument Valley during a wind storm that blew huge clouds of dust, obscuring the monuments, and drifting across the road. we had the video recorder on, recording the scene, and the radio on, playing the local radio station's Indian flute music. I love that video, and the music.

The American Indian respected nature, and only took from her what was needed to live.

But in today�s society, man takes and sometimes forget that we also need to give.

So very sadly true and tragic. Our so called 'leaders' are now removing 'protected status' from most of our remaining god-given wildlife, and very few people today even seem to care.

So called 'Progress' and our never ending greed, will soon leave our American landscape devoid of all wild animals, including the wolf.
