Lord, make me an instrument of your Peace as gentle as a dove!

        Where there is hatred - let me sow love that is unconditional like your love from above

        Where there is injury - let me pardon others seven times seven

        Where there is doubt - give me faith that comes from only heaven

        Where there is despair - let me have hope that only the Lord can provide

        Where there is darkness - give me the light from Jesus where the devil cannot hide

        Where there is sadness - let me have the joy of the Holy Spirit that dwells deep down inside 

        O Divine Master, grant that I may not so

        much seek to be consoled-as to console

        To be understood-as to understand
        To be loved-as to love
         For it is in giving-that we receive
         It is in pardoning-that we are pardoned
         It is in dying-that we are born to Eternal Life.
