You are so right when you say that it does matter how we act and what we say. My sister-in-law who passed away in 2006 was, I believe, the most positive person I ever met. You could see it in her smile and hear it in her voice--even in the way she answered the phone. She had the sort of magnetism about her that when she walked into a crowded room, all the attention immediately went to her. Oh how we miss her presence in our family. I will have to say this, however, that the world in which we live today, it is quite difficult to remain positive--not impossible--but difficult nonetheless. Nice write, John Michael.

Indeed, and I'm hopeful that now the media is run by us, the peoples, we will talk to all our friends around the world. Realising that hate is media and government contrived. Thus, allowing us to understand and respect the truth in each culture, and, as i have, nip over and meet new friends. The liars days are over. Normal folk are loving, happy folk in every country. Lets enjoy these cultures and embrace the peoples.

Your poem got me thinking. You're right, people like Joel Osteen, who goes out of his way to never say anything bad about anything has a tremendous following in his optimistic vision of everyone getting wealthy.

On the other hand, I've noticed that negative people like Rush Limbaugh seem to be able to gather a very large following, too. However, of late, I've noticed that that following has been diminished by some of the offensive things said by the man that have backlashed on him.

Perhaps one of the most negative people I can think of was Adolf Hitler. While he had opponents that he imprisoned or killed, he had a tremendous following of people who loved everything he said in his vision for one thousand years of the Third Reich.

So true. I love people and love helping them however I can. My blessings come in the form of feeling good about what I'm doing. We must think positively............what else is there to do?
