Hard core prison folks can go from one extreme to another. Most don't want to be average. So when they decide to go to get right with the Lord they become Extreme Saints and Warriors for the His Word! In prison ministry you can witness this live! You can read how in my book, "Can't Wait To GO BACK To Prison" and get a small glimpse about how this happens from this poem:

The prison doors opened wide Then another victim is placed inside This is one who will go back for more He won't recover from this revolving door For he knows that he did something very bad, very good He is an EXTREMIST, and he is very much misunderstood But when prison folks get to know the Lord They bond together tight under one accord They become very strong in the faith and teach God’s love That’s the other EXTREME, the good one from above! Some become God’s Extreme Warriors and help save others from the pit! It's an extreme miracle and all of God’s children are well worth it! Amen! © 2014, John Michael Domino

Depending on their characters, the Lord can have a huge effect on anyone. Some are more enthusiastic than others in their belief. I came to the Lord for comfort and because my store of youth and confidence were so very low. It does not matter which way you find your path. It matters that you found it. Extremists of any sort scare the hell out of me. And perhaps I need the "hell" scared out of me once in a while so that I can be ready when extreme sneaks up on me to try to do me harm for no other reason than just being, "extreme."
