We live in an tel electronic culture. Even adults cannot put down the cell. I am included as well. But are we missing out on life? Yes, we are! While trying to create reality electronically all we REALLY need to do is walk out the door.

Real Life still happens while we are on the computer or TV Many “Real Life” lessons are still occurring all around us Caterpillars are still turning into majestic butterflies Clouds are still making shade as the wind blows them by... Baby birds are still learning from their parents how to fly The sun still rises east and sets west and makes a colorful sky All we need to do is take time, go outside, watch and see There is a whole wonderful world waiting to be explored It’s filled with magnificent scenery available for free It was all created just for you and for me! OH, MICHAEL...HOW BEAUTIFUL AND HOW VERY TRUE! THOUGH WE DO NEED THE COMPUTER WE SHOULD NOT NEGLECT TO APPRECIATE AND OBSERVE THE WONDERFUL WORLD AROUND US THAT GOD HAS CREATED JUST FOR US. WHEN WE LOOK AT THE NATURAL THINGS WE LEARN TO LOVE, TRUST AND REVERENCE GOD MORE. You forgot people. There are still people out there, strangers, who are not all tied up in their cell phones and smart pads that will converse and share the beautiful world around us. So many of us are affected by the news that shows the worst of the worst every day as though it were happening to us. It isn't. So your recommendation to get outside and enjoy life is really appropriate for those stuck inside and reading this comment.

A right on write, and I couldn't agree more. I did a poem titled, Cell Phone Addiction, and that's what it is, an addiction. Not to mention the constant interruptions. Who can get anything done? And by the way, I do not have a cell phone, and I don't want one.
