Reading and learning from other poems can spark a light of ideas from seemingly nowhere!

We are living here in a magnificent sea of poetry. Sometimes gasping to understand the meaning of thee… At times enjoying reading a chuckle or a point of view. Other times, growling when something grabs you! Placing feelings and ideas on paper can be so uplifting. Like sharing a present we exchange by taking and giving! Reading poems creates a spark of ideas and directions. Our minds wander off into an ocean of new expressions. We may favor one author’s ideas or another’s style. We can still grow from every poem, after the while!
