Passwords..Passwords...What's the password? I cannot recall. I remembered it yesterday but my brain just hit a wall!

Passwords are so EASY to FORGET We make them up to protect WhatEVER Do we really need all of these passwords? Do we get to VOTE if we want them? NO NEVER! What's the password for this? What's the password for that? There are passwords for watching TV. Even passwords to buy food for the cat! Then there are passwords that are too SHORT Others are no good because they contain your NAME Some just don't have the right amount of characters Who makes this stuff up? Who is to BLAME? We have several passwords just for our cell phone Why can't we use just one? What's the BIG FUSS? We have passwords for sending cards and gifts It's a passsword frenzy! Recalling can drive ya NUTS! The solution must be to use our fingerprints God made us all different and that's GREAT! I long for the day when it's simple for all When passwords finally become OUT-OF-DATE! AMEN! JMD

I remember as children, the girls had their "fort" and the boys had their "fort" and the only way to get in was to know the password. Nothing has changed!! LOL!! Fun poem!!

I am with on this, John. Passwords are a constant pain. Surely in this day and age of advanced technology and such, we can come up with a better way. Love, peace, and blessings.

I'm with you on this one. I have about forty passwords that torment me each day. The more unique I make them, the easier they are to forget. I rue the day when I lose my planner of passwords. Then I'm lost for good.

Those passwords can get lost after you've got too many. I use a card for myself and place it right underneath my laptop, and every time I create one or change a password on one, I immediately write it down on my card, so it won't be lost. This is the only way I can keep up with all my passwords.

Some people prefer to write them down into a file and save it on their laptops, but that is not safe. What happens when your laptop is hacked? Then your passwords would be hacked as well; and God helps you if you get a virus and your files are wiped out, then you would lose your passwords as well.

So, I think keeping a card underneath the laptop is a much better method to save our passwords.

A humorous look at one of our big problems these days, keeping track of passwords that are supposed to be unavailable to others. I have a way of keeping them that may make them quite vulnerable. Also my computers have built in software to save my passwords. Sometimes that backfires, but for the most part is very useful not having to type in or copy and paste passwords all the time.

There seem to be sources that claim that we can have one password that would fit all. Unfortunately, many websites, legitimately fearing unwarranted access to our accounts. Have differing rules for passwords making a universal password quite difficult.

I imagine this is a real problem for alcohol abusers, drug users, and the chronically lazy. Personally I find that having to remember things (such as passwords) keeps the mind sharp and the recall accurate. r
