Mother at her 95th birthday party, April 2018!

My Dear children, I do not need another tie or a shirt Do NOT BUY me a watch or an expensive ring Please do not buy me anything! But there is a gift from heaven Nothing else will come close It's mother, she is the perfect gift Special time with her, means the MOST! So it may be fathers day for dad But there is nothing on earth That will make me so happy and glad She was an excellent mother ...taught to be be wise and strong ...taught me right from wrong She was also... the father I never had. HAPPY FATHERS DAY - MOTHER!

I was fortunate to have a good father who lived a long time. But, like you, my 93-year-old mother is a prize that I was even more fortunate to have in my life. We are 1200 miles apart, but just two days ago she happily saw my face, and, although she can no longer hear my words, was able to get a translation from my niece who was helping her with FaceTime on her iPad.
