You enter my mind, my room,
and winnow the shifting
dune of language glaring at you.
Drip
by
drip the words issue out.
Over the effacing landscape
your shadows take flight,
as the moon scatters waves
in the desert, and a thirst wakes
and builds cages of desire
where sand trickles in,
where your nakedness reclines
and builds castles of sand,
sand that sings and breaks loose.
Murmur of snakes and insects,
the drumbeats of storms,
the screaming and panting of earth,
the shadows that break
and make you whole
erase each day.

As I decipher this ... you are observing the enigma of being a poet and the process's and channels the muse takes to create through human flesh.
