Some times we take so much for granted and forget to appreciate the little things that make life complete.Perhaps they are not so little. God Bless, Luke
Morning Glory
The smell of bacon frying
Sifts through my senses
Morning sun shining
As waking body tenses.
Early rising noises
From kitchen below
Awake my body poises
To leave oh so slow.
This warm and cosy refuge
A safe haven from life
To pancakes so huge
Made by a loving wife.
Thank God with all his Glory
For the life He’s given me.
Time for morning story
Grand daughter on my knee.
You have shared your appreciation for the moments most exquisitely, Larry. Thank you. Love and peace to you,
Regis

I love mornings...
filled with the flower called Morning Glory
and Luke...this poem of yours has
captured the essence of
fragrant mornings and more...
Melodious rhythm and rhymes...
I could read this again and again
