Christmas can overwhelm us with memories of Christmas's past. We need to remember the reason for the season and there are times when all our lives are dark.

The Dark Times I hope you have had a Merry Christmas A time with ones you love Enjoyed this season festive Thanked Him up above. Christmas is a merry time With family all around Ah those joyous bells chime We love that Christmas sound. Christmas is a bright time So easy to enjoy We can't forget the dark time Life often does deploy. Overwhelmed with memories Of loved ones who have passed Often those old Christmas stories Your heart has so full amassed. Christmas is the light of Christ The healing for those dark times The quenching of that thirst For loved ones past the old times. To sooth your mortal soul Christ has given us this day Your loved ones all around you Just a prayer away God Bless Luke

Um , i'm always glad when that day ends, even though i do believe it's for jesus birth to celebrate it, but it is always so stressful.

Every Christmas light reminds me that it is the birthday of Jesus Christ, the Light of the world. All the celebration might not be intended by the celebrators for Him, but in my heart it's all one glorious birthday tribute for the King of kings.
This poem goes beneath the surface to acknowledge that there is heartache at Christmas, but God has also endowed us with Christmas joy to heal. Wise words!
