In Reminiscence of the past, I came up with this idea of how it was like in days long gone, never again to return
THE OLD FASHIONED GIRL
She was nought but an old fashioned girl Doing what she ought with ringlets about a beautiful face And she was never, never in haste Her busom was tight and perfectly light Her skirt was full length over her high buttoned shoes She walked with a swing Boys would give her a ring She never said yes, but the boys would fill with desire She was waiting for Mr Right Finally he came with his hair all slicked down He gave her a whirl and at dances they would twirl He gave her delight So she married the guy with the slicked down hair who made her promises big He turned out to be a pig He gave her a ring and babies to boot And kept her at home Safe from all suiters, you see
